The
PAQL
was formed in 2006 by alumni
who wanted to bring Pasquaney style quoits home with them.
The Pasquaney style of quoits is unique in that it is a
descendant of metal quoits (in Pasquaney's case, iron), using
a
variation of English rules for outdoor play, but uses the safer rubber
quoits that are predominantly used indoors. The
PAQL
is here to help make joining a local league, setting up your own
pits,
and bringing Pasquaney home with you easier. We have
established rules governing the play of Pasquaney style quoits, as well
as regional leagues for local play. With a national presence
from Maine to Arizona, we are the most distributed quoits league in the
US.
